QAHE Announces Partnership with ACE to Support LAMDIK’s International Accreditation Efforts
The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is excited to partner with the Accreditation Council for Education (ACE) to help LAMDIK establish itself as an International Accreditation Institution (LAI). This collaboration aims to enhance quality assurance standards in higher education across Indonesia and extend its impact internationally.
In a recent development, ACE hosted a focus group discussion from August 20 to 22, 2024, at the Platinum Hotel in Surabaya. The event brought together 37 participants, including education stakeholders and experts. They worked on developing the International Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (ISG-INQAAHE). ACE’s General Chairperson, Professor Muchlas Samani, inaugurated the discussion. During the event, participants focused on specific accreditation standards in groups.
Since joining INQAAHE in December 2023, ACE has been preparing LAMDIK for its upcoming review. This effort highlights QAHE’s commitment to supporting educational institutions seeking international accreditation and ensuring they meet global standards.
The partnership between QAHE and ACE will assist LAMDIK in transitioning into an international accreditation body. Consequently, this move is expected to elevate the quality of education in Indonesia. Furthermore, by enhancing the global recognition of Indonesian institutions, the collaboration will benefit students and educators alike, improving access to high-quality educational opportunities.
QAHE is excited about the initiative and expects it to positively impact education in Indonesia and beyond. This partnership signifies a collective effort to improve quality assurance practices, fostering an environment that prioritizes educational excellence.
